The following information was provided by the Parkway School District in a news release.

Jo Wanda Bozeman, Parkway National Education Association (PNEA) president, has been recognized for her leadership and integrity.  Bozeman received the Shirley Cromer Leadership Award from the Missouri National Education Association (MNEA) on November 12 in St. Louis. 

Each year, this award is presented to a Missouri NEA member who demonstrates outstanding leadership and exemplifies the characteristics Shirley Cromer valued.

Cromer is a former MNEA president.

The winner of this award receives a monetary grant to attend the National Education Association (NEA) Conference or the NEA Midwest Regional Leadership Conference.
