TEAM BREADHEAD takes to the streets of St. Louis to support the 2012 Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure!
Approximately 5,000 St. Louisans came out in force to support TEAM BREADHEAD at the 2012 Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure, which took place this past Saturday, June 23, 2012 in downtown St. Louis.
Wearing their distinctive lime green shirts, 92.3 WIL's TEAM BREADHEAD raised $200,000 this year for Komen St. Louis - and again fielded the largest team at the 2012 event - with the help of the station's loyal listeners.
Kudos go out to the 2012 TEAM BREADHEAD sponsors, who helped to make this year's team a success:
- Missouri Baptist Medical Center
- Three French Hens
- Sheen Vein Institute
- THE BANK of Edwardsville
- The Bedroom Store
- GCS Federal Credit Union
- Bandana’s BBQ
- Sundrop/Sunkist Soda
Overall, the Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure is currently sitting at $2,373,000 raised for the 2012 race, with just over 50,000 participants.
