80 Jobs Coming To BRDG Park

Governor Nixon and company officials will make the announcement official Tuesday.

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon will be making a return trip to the campus of the Tuesday, to announce an international firm's plan to create 80 new jobs to be housed in the Bio Research & Development Growth or BRDG Park.

The Governor will be joined by officials from a company called SyMyCo. Officials at the BRDG Park were not immediately available for comment Monday.

as the backdrop to outline his support for the Missouri Science Reinvestment Act (MOSIRA), which is to be considered by lawmakers next month in a special legislative session.

The legislation would set aside a portion of state income tax dollars created by new high-tech jobs to fund economic incentives to bring new businesses to the state.
