Creve Coeur Days 2012: Know Before You Go
The annual city carnival opens Thursday night. For the first time in the non-profit's history, the event will be held on the De Smet Jesuit campus.
Crews will be busy assembling the carnival midway early Thursday at De Smet Jesuit in preparation for the opening of Creve Coeur Days 2012. The annual carnival will go off about a month after it has normally been held in past years.
Many of the rides were already on site at De Smet Wednesday, but organizers said workers were operating another carnival site and dismantling it Wednesday night and then focusing on Creve Coeur for the weekend.
