Creve Coeur Police Recover Stolen Computer Gear Worth Thousands
Suspect was arrested during a weekend traffic stop in Kirkwood.
The Creve Coeur Police department announced an arrest Tuesday in a months-old investigation into stolen computer equipment taken from LifeSkills in November.
Police say the suspect, who lived out of state, was taken into custody by Kirkwood Police after a Saturday traffic stop.
A photo released with the announcement of an arrest shows several laptop computers, monitors, at least four hard drives, carrying cases and other pieces of equipment.
Police estimate the items stolen are worth approximately $20,000. The department has applied for charging warrants with the St. Louis County Prosecutor's office.
