Man Faces Felony DWI Charge in Creve Couer

Police pulled the man over just after midnight Feb. 7 in the 11000 block of Olive Boulevard.

A St. Louis man faces a felony driving charge after Creve Coeur Police pulled him over on Olive Boulevard.

Sherman Woodard, 62, of the 400 block of West Belle Place in the city of St. Louis, was charged Feb. 22 with driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender. He has two previous alcohol-related driving convictions.

Creve Coeur Police said Woodard was drunk when they pulled him over at 12:06 a.m. Feb. 7 in the 11000 block of Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur.

He was found guilty of DWI in 1998 and driving with excessive blood-alcohol content in 1984.

Bail was set at $10,000.
