NFL Pays Tribute To Newtown Shooting Victims

The St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings are among the National Football League teams recognizing the events which unfolded in Newtown, CT Friday.

The National Football League is honoring the memory of those lost in the Newtown, Connecticut shootings Friday, when a gunman took the lives of 26 people, including 20 children at Sandy Hook Elementary School before killing himself.

 

The St. Louis Rams, and the Minnesota Vikings held a moment of silence Sunday afternoon prior to kickoff at the Edward Jones Dome. The head coaches for both teams gathered at midfield and held and held hands with Daryl Richardson and Antoine Winfield. Both players wear the number 26 on their jerseys.
