The Pattonville School District is notifying parents about the death of a math teacher, Scott Dickinson.

Parents at Pattonville High School received word Thursday that Scott Dickinson, a math teacher, had died.
According to a letter emailed to parents by Principal Joe Dobrinic, Dickinson, a math teacher who was not teaching this year, died Wednesday after what was described as a "brief illness."
Funeral arrangements were not available but Dobrinic said Dickinson, a military veteran, would be interred at Jefferson Barracks.
Dobrinic said school counselors were ready to support students.

I had Mr. Dickinson from 7th-12th grade. He was the best teacher. He was kind, patient, fun and really cared about his students. RIP Mr. Dickinson.
