President Barack Obama has announced late Sunday that the Osama Bin Laden is dead. CNN is reporting that this was a "human" operation and not a drone strike.
Celebratory crowds have begun to gather around the White House, chanting "U-S-A" and singing the Star Spangled Banner.
The New York Times is reporting that bin Laden was killed in a "targeted assault" by American forces.

Killing is not a civilized way to erradicate evil. What's unfortunate is that had Bin Laden been tried by American law and convicted, then he would have faced a much worse consequence: rotting in jail waiting until his death.
G-d's law does not allow killing. Also, I believe that punishments should equate to the crime committed. Bin Laden
could have been allowed to suffer much more. Isolation would have slowly driven him insane. I feel that would have been a much more appropriate sentence.
