Police: Two Cars Set Ablaze at Missouri Baptist University

The parked cars were destroyed early this morning; police say the fires were set intentionally.

Creve Coeur police are investigating an early morning fire that engulfed two cars in a parking lot at Missouri Baptist University early Wednesday morning.

No one was injured, according to Lt. Jon Romas of the Creve Coeur Police Department, and a police investigation showed the fires had been set intentially.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. this morning, the Creve Coeur Police Department received a call of a car fire on the parking lot of Missouri Baptist University.

Upon arrival, police found two vehicles engulfed in flames. The Creve Coeur Fire Department responded and extinguished the fires. There were no injuries and the vehicles were not occupied.

Examination of the scene indicated that the vehicles were set on fire intentionally. This incident is under investigation by the Creve Coeur Police Department.
