You can attend Dancing For Birth TM classes weekly beginning when you are planning to conceive and continuing after you give birth, with your baby. It is never too late to start.
Our goal is to share movements and wisdom to support your birth and parenting experience, so you are energized, empowered and enlightened. Classes are a fun fusion of dance fitness and birth/parenting preparation and include relaxation, ab/pelvic floor exercises, comfort measures, and more.
You'll learn signature moves such as "Dilation Gyration" and the "Baby Welcoming Dance", inspired by world dance forms like African, Belly, Latin and Caribbean. No prior experience needed. Take it at your own pace.
Mention any pregnancy aches to your instructor, so she can use dance to help alleviate them. The movements are gentle and feel good. You'll want to do them in between classes as well.
This class can help you access your inner wisdom, gain confidence for your birth/parenting journey, have an experienced instructor/mentor and connect with a circle of women to celebrate/share the momentous journey with.
