Mere words are not enough when reporting the eulogy for a well-known public figure.

Former DeSmet and Mizzou basketball star Jim Kennedy gave a eulogy to his long-time friend, classmate and teammate Oct. 27 during the memorial service held at the DeSmet gymnasium, attended by about 1,000 people.

The eulogy is about 11 minutes and worth every second to watch.
