Effective Monday, AT&T will have a single outlet located on Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur, housed in the former Blockbuster Video location across from CityPlace. The new location at 11600 Olive replaces a neighboring store and the AT&T Device Support Center located in the Creve Coeur Shopping Center on the west end of town. The Device Support Center is branded as AT&T, but the facility, which handles warrantee and technical issues, is staffed by an outside firm, according to an AT&T spokesperson. Another sandwich shop has its eyes set on locating in Creve Coeur, or in this case, coming back. Brian Gambino, a local franchisee for Mr. Goodcents, has petitioned the city for a conditional use permit to open at 623 New Ballas Rd. A former Mr. Goodcents franchise was located in the 11900 block of Olive Boulevard. Gambino said the city's daytime workplace population is what attracted him, with opportunities to use catering and delivery to re-introduce the sandwich chain's brand, which has added wraps and toasted subs since it was last in Creve Coeur. You're one step closer to being able to dine-in at the movies in Creve Coeur on more than just popcorn and Milk Duds. The City's Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing and gave initial approval to AMC Theatres' plan for a conditional use permit to incorporate the company's in-theatre dining concepts at the AMC 16 location. The decision now moves to the Creve Coeur City Council Monday for the first of two readings. The city's Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing April 16 on the AMC West Olive theatre's request for a conditional use permit to allow for in-theater dining. And we're not just talking about popcorn and soda. While AMC officials declined comment, it appears Creve Coeur is slated for the chain's first attempt in St. Louis to deliver a "Fork & Screen" experience. You may have noticed Fast Signs in Creve Coeur has a new home. The shop moved next door, staying in the Woodcrest Shopping Center near Olive Boulevard and Interstate 270. The new location has been open for about a month. The store's former home shouldn't be empty much longer. Steve Fischer, the Creve Coeur franchise owner for Kansas City-based BrightStar Care, told Patch he expects his firm's business operations to be open at 12333 Olive Blvd. in May. CUTCO Cutlery, a company which sells knives, kitchen accessories and cookware, is coming to Creve Coeur next month, in the former CityPlace home of The Sound Room. CUTCO has to this point sold products through in-home visits by college students, but will use the Creve Coeur location to launch its fourth retail outlet, scheduled for a soft launch April 15. Long after Provisions Market closed up shop on Olive Boulevard and relocated to a new storefront on New Ballas Road under the Wine and Cheese Place banner, readers have been checking in with Patch to find out what will happen to the CityPlace property.
