Scott Properties and Affiliates CEO Joe Scott filed suit in St. Louis County on November 8 against Indiana based BuRay Energy International and Oklahoma based 4 Square Gas concerning a $2,800,000 investment he and others made in 2007 with the companies.Creve Coeur based Scott Properties owns and manages more than 2 million sq. ft. of office, medical, retail and warehouse space in the region and reported revenue of $165 million in 2010. Creve Coeur resident and EJ Spirtas Group, LLC president Eric J. Spirtas is being sued by Peoples National Bank in St. Louis County Judge Michael Jamison’s courtroom regarding loans and a series of modification agreements with the bank between made between 2007 and 2010.EJ Spirtas Group, LLC is a development company that purchases dormant facilities and properties which the company then demolishes and redevelops. According to court documents the bank alleges that in 2006 it made three loans to Spirtas Group totaling $1 million and that between 2007 and 2010 Spirtas Group entered into a series…
Bill Breece, president and CEO of Crown Capital Corporation, based in the greater Creve Coeur area, sued former American Healthcare Management (AHM) CEO Robert D. Wachter on Aug. 17 in the St. Louis County courtroom of Judge Steve Goldman.Breece and Wachter are the owners of R&W Holdings and also held the controlling interest in four other companies — all real estate holding companies in which real estate was leased to nursing home operators and eventually sold.On Sept. 19, 2006, more than $9.6 million of the proceeds from the sale were distributed to R&W by Chicago Title Company. Former Plaza Motors general sales manager for Lexus Jack Hisserich and former Plaza Lexus business manager Larry Pohlman are in arbitration with the leading luxury car dealer in the area concerning alleged age discrimination.  Hisserich is now the general sales manager for Parktown Imports in Kirkwood. He filed an age discrimination suit in May of 2010 and Pohlman filed in October of 2010.  Plaza, Hisserich, and Pohlman have agreed to leave the remedy in the hands of an arbitrator. Ray Vinson sued by California advertising service ReachLocal, which hired attorney that took Vinson for $300,000 in March US Auto Protection topper Ray Vinson, who made a fortune pitching his American Equity Mortgage on local media with a distinctive voice reminiscent of actor Strother Martin, is being sued for breach of contract by California advertising service ReachLocal in the St. Louis County courtroom of judge Barbara Wallace.
