2014 Empowerment Conference: Presented by the St. Louis Black Pages/Transformational Agenda Magazine

One year ago, St. Louis witnessed something that had never been done before. A conference consisting of 100 empowering seminars over 20 topics, a voluntary service fair, and a tribute to the Black arts, all free for anyone seeking to gain information that will help them grow in empowerment; and to everyone committed to assist in the healing of the African American community.

Expected to be bigger than its precedent, which many proclaimed was one of the most positive and empowering events they’d ever attended,  the 2014 Empowerment Conference Presented by the St. Louis Black Pages Business Directory and Transformational Agenda Magazine is sure to propel your personal empowerment via its 120 free seminars over 40 topics including: “What’s A Man, Woman, Love and Relationship”, “Nurturing Mind, Body, and Spirit”, “Q&A on Home Ownership”, “Examining Sexual Insanity”, and much more.

Join hundreds of community members Saturday March 1, 2014 at Cardinal Ritter Prep High School from 9am-6pm as medical, relationship, business, social service, and education experts deliver 120 FREE seminars over various topics affecting the African American community. Additionally, several top non-profit and social service agencies will be in attendance to introduce community members to voluntary service opportunities and to deliver information face-to-face on how their services can help the community during the Empowerment Expo. Then from 5pm-6pm, attendees will bear witness to some of the area’s top musical and poetic artists during the Love Black Festival.

 

Within its 100,000 copies, the St. Louis Black Pages/Transformational Agenda Magazine has gifted the community with a print version of the conference within its full-color 2014 edition. Within the “Empowerment is the Imperative” section of the publication, explicit details, including the “10 Pillars of Empowerment” and “Empowerment Conference Action Guide” are given to assist individuals and families in propelling their personal empowerment.

 

A clear conceptualization of what an empowered life is like must be transmitted to facilitate behavioral change.  The 2014 Empowerment Conference Presented by the St. Louis Black Pages and Transformational Agenda is a catalyst for the African American community to begin the process of healing and for individuals to receive the empowering information needed to transform their lives.

The Empowerment Conference will be March 1, 2014 and will encourage the St. Louis African American community to embrace a new and thriving future, and be a testament to truth that the African American community can heal itself. Details are as follows:
