Paramount Mortgage Gives Back and Helps Employees Do the Same

The “Golden Rule” is a universally understood individual philosophy of treating others as you would like to be treated, however for Paramount Mortgage Company, (PMC) it’s their guiding business principle.

Paramount Mortgage, an independent mortgage bank headquartered in Creve Coeur, MO, has a longstanding commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, and supports its employees in doing the same. Several years ago, the company established a “Golden Rule Committee” to implement such initiatives.

Paramount Mortgage employees are encouraged to designate various charities and meaningful causes to be the beneficiary of monetary donations, fundraisers or community service projects.  Financial support is generated from weekly “dress down days,” bake sales, and other company wide fundraisers and each month, Paramount’s “employee-of-the-month” selects a charity or meaningful cause for the company to support.

“Helping others, providing the utmost customer service and being the best we can be, as individuals and as a company, are hallmarks of Paramount,” said H. John Frank, Jr., Paramount Mortgage Company’s President.

In fact, Paramount Mortgage’s giving extends to its own family of nearly 80 employees. Through the establishment of the PMC Family Fund, any employee experiencing unexpected financial hardship may apply for funds to get them through difficult times.  The money provided to those in need is considered a gift without an expectation of repayment and is raised from internal, company-wide, events and fundraisers.  It’s literally Paramount Mortgage employees helping other Paramount Mortgage employees in times of need.

Giving back makes good business sense and Paramount clearly understands that creating an internal foundation of giving—for, by and with their employees—will yield greater returns to the community.

Established in 1970, Paramount Mortgage is an independently owned mortgage bank headquartered in St. Louis. In addition to its St. Louis headquarters, it has physical offices in Illinois, Florida and Washington and is licensed to originate residential mortgages in California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Missouri, Oregon, Texas and Washington.  Paramount Mortgage is a HUD approved lender and provides a full range of VA, FHA, USDA, 203K, Jumbo and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac agency products.
