What To Watch For This Halloween In Creve Coeur

Police will have additional staffing to ensure trick-or-treating goes off without a hitch.

The forecast for this Halloween day in Creve Coeur looks to be mostly clear with a chance of ghouls and goblins being greeted on doorsteps around the city.

Authorities are warning you to follow some of the usual precautions. If you're driving, do it slowly because of the increased pedestrian traffic. The St. Louis County Police are also reminding parents to remind their kids to stay in groups, lighted areas, and to only approach homes with the front porch light on.

In an email to Patch, Creve Coeur Police Lieutenant Jon Romas summed up his department's plan for the evening, which includes increased staffing:

The additional patrol units will be focusing on neighborhood patrols earlier in the evening to ensure the safety of trick or treaters that are going door to door. Patrol Officers will be providing snacks to the little goblins who stop to say hi as we go through the subdivisions.
