Where/When: Parkway North High School 7 p.m. Friday

Why: The school is marking 1,000 games played in boys basketball history, and retiring the number of Terry Donnelly, who graduated in the classs of 1976 and went on to win a championship with Magic Johnson at Michigan State.

Pricing: Regular game admission

Where/When: Congregation B'nai Amoona, 7 p.m. Saturday.

Why: B'nai Amoona is having a super auction filled with vacations, tickets, gift baskets and more! All are welcome for this fun filled night, with proceeds going to the congregation's general fund.

Pricing: $18 in advance/$24 at the door

Where/When: Missouri Botanical Garden, starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Why:A day filled with guided bird walks, live exhibits, informative classes and identification tips for bird watchers of all ages and experience levels.

Pricing: Varies, depending on the session. Advance registration is required.
