ALDI Outlines Plans For May 2 Opening In Creve Coeur

The discount grocer says the location at New Ballas Road and Olive Boulevard will have "a new look."

The pace of construction has picked up at the site of the former Borders bookstore in Creve Coeur as crews work toward a May 2 grand opening of the newest ALDI grocery store.

The company says it will bring quality products and savings for customers, along with a "new look" for the grocer, according to a statement this week:

"With higher ceilings, improved natural lighting and environmentally friendly building materials – such as recycled materials and energy-saving refrigeration and light bulbs – the store will offer customers a simple and easy-to-navigate shopping experience."
