Ceridian Closed Up Shop In Creve Coeur, But Some Jobs Remain
Ceridian, a payroll/HR firm, is consolidating jobs in Florida and Georgia.
Following through on , , the payroll benefits firm closed its Creve Coeur facility on New Ballas Road Friday, in an effort to consolidate into facilities in Atlanta, GA and St. Petersburg, FL.
The initial announcement indicated 200 employees would be laid off, but in a statement to Patch Friday, a spokeswoman said impacted employees would be offered the chance to work virtually, which it estimated would reduce that impact by 100 jobs.
The spokeswoman said severance packages and "comany-funded career transition services" would also be available to employees who don't stay with the company.
