Another sandwich shop has its eyes set on locating in Creve Coeur, or in this case, coming back. Brian Gambino, a local franchisee for Mr. Goodcents, has petitioned the city for a conditional use permit to open at 623 New Ballas Rd.

A former Mr. Goodcents franchise was located in the 11900 block of Olive Boulevard.

Gambino said the city's daytime workplace population is what attracted him, with opportunities to use catering and delivery to re-introduce the sandwich chain's brand, which has added wraps and toasted subs since it was last in Creve Coeur.
