A new ranking of "Best Places to" is out, and a Creve Coeur employer is getting some bragging rights out of it.
was listed as the 29th Best Place to Work in IT in 2012 by ComputerWorld.
The publication looked at areas like an employer's budget for training, promotion and turnover rates and perks in assembling the top 100 employers. In the writeup for Monsanto, the publication credits the firm's "yearlong development program designed to help high-potential IT leaders enhance their leadership and interpersonal skills."
The praise comes as the city of Creve Coeur is actively reaching out to Information Technology firms around the area. The city's economic development commission recently held a roundtable with some of them who have said they are poised to grow. The city wants to see what it can do to make sure those companies grow here.
Other St. Louis-based employers on the ComputerWorld list included ScottTrade, Edward Jones and Boeing.
