Creve Coeur Will Soon Have No Borders
Michigan chain announces liquidation plans for all remaining bookstores.
National bookstore chain Borders announced Monday that it will move forward with the sale of the company to a pair of firms which will liquidate what's left of the Ann Arbor, Michigan-based firm, including on Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur.
In a statement released Monday, Borders President Mike Edwards said, "headwinds we have been facing for quite some time, including the rapidly changing book industry, eReader revolution, and turbulent economy, have brought us to where we are now,"
