Almost a year after plans for a Chick-fil-A restaurant were discussed with residents before a zoning request was denied, what do you think would go well here?

was denied when concerns over the potential for more drive thru restaurants in the city, as well as traffic concerns at this intersection specifically, had residents up in arms.

Now, almost a year later, the land at this corner appears to be subdivided once again into to pieces. Developers for both properties have not returned several phone calls seeking updates on potential prospects.

While residents for years have wanted a hardware store to return to the city, developers have said the economics of doing business along a pricey stretch of real estate on Olive is what drove them to a restaurant/bank proposal in the first place.
