New Year's Eve 2012: Celebrations, Specials and Events in Creve Coeur

• is offering a special New Year’s Eve deal. Make a reservation, and you can get the special deal, featuring three-course meals for $29.95. You’ll have your choice of soup or salad, a variety of fish entrees and steak entrees and a dessert.  Houlihan’s bar will also offer ½ price cocktails and draft beer, as well as $6 appetizers on Saturday. • is also offering a special New Year’s Eve deal featuring a three-course meal with a champagne toast for $65 (or $55 without the champagne.) The restaurant will also offer its regular menu. Bristol’s will be open from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Hold a table by making your reservation in advance.

• New Year’s Eve, the movie, will be showing at on Dec. 31 at 6:50 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. The movie features a star-studded cast, including Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jessica Biel, Hillary Swank, Jon Bon Jovi and more. You can buy your tickets online or in person.

• Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and are teaming up to promote safe driving on New Year’s Eve with their annual “Tie One On for Safety” event. MADD volunteers from the Gateway Chapter will be at the Creve Coeur Waterway location at 10559 Old Olive St. Rd. from noon to 2 p.m. on Dec. 31 handing out red window clings to remind people to drive safely. You can also donate to MADD at any area Waterway location until Dec. 31.
