Possible Senior Living Facility On Lindbergh Has Residents Upset

The project has not been formally presented to Creve Coeur's Planning and Zoning Commission or City Council, but will have a hearing in front of the Board of Adjustment in September.

There could be a new fight over a possible senior living facility in Creve Coeur, although this time the project isn't located on Ladue Road and isn't tied to Delmar Gardens.

Tealwood Acquisitions LLC is behind a plan for a 50,000 square foot Assisted Living/Memory Care facility where the Tealwood Square shopping center now sits. Representatives will request a code variance from Creve Coeur's Board of Adjustment September 19.

The plan has not been submitted for approval by Creve Coeur's Planning and Zoning Commission or City Council.

The St. Louis Business Journal reports that the project would include a theater, salon and a bistro. The publication says nearby residents have complained to city officials about the impact construction will have on their neighborhood and have also voiced concerns over what would happen if a resident of the facility wandered off the property and into traffic on Lindbergh Boulevard.
