Ray's Donuts Creve Coeur Debut Delayed
New location in Creve Coeur replaces a shop in Olivette.
Ray's Donuts fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the product in Creve Coeur.
Plans for a "soft opening" September 28 were dashed mid-month when St. Louis County Public Works crews issued a stop work order September 18 because the store in the Shoppes at Westgate plaza didn't have a plumbing permit.
Reached Monday, Bill Risberg, who manages the Ray's operation, said he hoped to get approval to begin work again this Friday, with the hope of being open October 12, but more likely by October 19.
