Comments: No thermometer found in salad and dessert coolers; sanitizer buckets didn’t have any sanitizer. Both problems corrected.

Hotshots Sports Bar and Grill

Comments: Freezer door gasket is in poor condition and won’t close tightly as a result; eggs stored above other foods.

Comments: Front and back doors were open and not protected from possible pests; No food handlers had proof of Hepatitis A records; food debris found on can opener, freezer’s bottom, inside microwave, inside drawer, and inspector recommended frequent clean up and maintenance of surfaces and equipment. Restaurant must have permit posted and many violations must be corrected by follow up.
*Follow-up inspection scheduled for June 21.

Cornerstone Bakery
Address: 2636 N. Highway 67, Florissant
Date of Inspection: July 5
Type of Inspection: Routine
Risk Factor: 1
Grade: 92-A
Comments: Eggs in cooler store over ready-to-eat food items and were later moved to a different shelf; openings found in back door sweep, which could cause pest entry; mop not properly stored in between uses; single-use utensils not stored or protected properly.
