What Was The Biggest Business Story Of The Year in Creve Coeur?

New businesses came to town while some large employers packed up in Creve Coeur in 2012.

We've reached that time of year where we're reflecting back on the year that was and what had Creve Coeur talking in 2012.

Today, we're opening the floor to discussion about the biggest business stories in town over the past year. Many new businesses opened up shop in Creve Coeur over the past 12 months, like Potbelly, and Ray's Donuts, while other established businesses made major changes and expanded their presence, as AMC Theatre did when it brought a Dine-In approach to the West Olive 16.

One story that has played out through all of 2012 and will likely go into next year are the plans Delmar Gardens hopes to get approved for a new set of facilities on Ladue Road near Interstate 270.

The year in business also saw companies dealing with larger economic pressures and the loss of business pull out of Creve Coeur, as Ceridian and Molina Healthcare both did this fall, which put hundreds of people out of work.
