Bryan Graiff Joins Brown Smith Wallace as Principal, Financial Advisory Services

Bryan Graiff joins Brown Smith Wallace as a principal in the firm’s financial advisory services practice, which is a leading provider of valuation, dispute advisory and corporate finance services.

“Bryan’s client-side financial and operational senior management experience strengthens our services in the areas of restructuring/bankruptcy consulting, CFO and business advisory as well as merger & acquisition due diligence,” says Donna Beck Smith, member in charge of the financial advisory services practice.

Graiff has more than 20 years of experience across various industries such as public accounting, aerospace, consumer products, chemical manufacturing, professional manpower services and multi-channel healthcare retail. He has been involved in reorganizations, acquisitions, divestitures and
restructurings for his entire career.

Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, Graiff began his career and became an audit manager at Arthur Andersen. Additionally, he held a number of leadership roles at both public and privately held corporations.

Most recently, he re-engineered the finance department and was in charge of commercial sales for Life Uniform, the largest national specialty healthcare apparel retailer, then owned by Sun Capital Partners, one of the top 50 private equity firms in the world. He was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2013 to lead the exit strategy for the company through a Chapter 11 sale process.

Graiff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, accounting and economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Graiff currently serves as the finance chairman on the Executive Committee for St. Patrick Center and is also on the Board for Sunset Country Club. A native of Litchfield, Ill., he currently resides in St. Louis.
