John Killoran Joins BSW Small Business Services as Manager

John Killoran joins BSW Small Business Services as a manager with more than 15 years of experience in public accounting working with a variety of organizations, including small & mid-sized, non-profit and governmental entities. Killoran will be responsible for servicing clients in various capacities, including working as a CFO/ controller for companies; reviewing financial statements; developing accounting policies, procedures and internal controls; and supervising the outsourced accounting at BSW Small Business Services.

Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, Killoran served as a consulting engagement lead manager for the accounting outsourcing group at CBIZ MHM, LLC in St. Louis for the past nine years.

Killoran earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems, along with a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems Development, from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Missouri Society of CPAs. He serves as an adjunct professor at Lindenwood University where he teaches a course on Management Information Systems.

Killoran also serves as the finance chair, board member and executive committee member on the board of the Vision for Children at Risk, an advocacy group for the St. Louis metropolitan children’s health and welfare. A native of St. Louis, he currently resides in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
