The Goddard School Announces Grand Opening in Creve Coeur, MO

Goddard Systems, Inc. (GSI), the franchisor of The Goddard School® preschool system, announced today the opening of its newest school in Creve Coeur, Mo. Located at 11222 Olive Blvd., the new school is owned by franchisee team Julie Bunton and Marla and Jason Brunk. In honor of the grand opening, the community is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration on Saturday, March 8 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. CST.

“We are thrilled to open our new school in Creve Coeur,” said Julie Bunton, onsite owner of The Goddard School in Creve Coeur. “It has long been a dream of mine to operate my very own preschool,  and I am proud to offer excellence in education to the community’s youngest learners.”

The grand opening celebration will start with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:00 p.m. Following the ribbon cutting, the Tekno Bubble Bus will be on site at 2:30 p.m., blowing out one million bubbles in a “bubble show” set to music and sure to excite children of all ages. Throughout the event, teachers will be onsite in classrooms to meet families and showcase The Goddard School’s unique play-based curriculum. Parents who enroll their children into the Creve Coeur Goddard School on March 8 will receive free registration, a $100 savings.

In addition to the new Goddard School in Creve Coeur, Marla and Jason Brunk also own three other Goddard locations: Arnold, Manchester and Saint Charles. Mo.. When it came time to open their fourth school, the Brunks partnered with business colleague, Julie Bunton, on the endeavor. Bunton, the former director at both the Arnold and Manchester locations, brings years of education experience to her new role as onsite owner.

The Goddard School preschool system operates on a dual-management system, distinctive in the early childhood education industry. Each location is managed on-site by the franchise owner, as well as an educational director responsible for working with teachers and implementing the curriculum. This separation and clear delineation of roles has resulted in The Goddard School system’s success and high satisfaction ratings for 25 years.

The Creve Coeur school opening is part of GSI’s expansion plan across the United States to open 30 new schools per year by 2019.
