Day 2 in Recap

The 7on7 competition was a successful experience for the Red Devils. Due to a mix up in registration, Chaminade was represented by 3 teams in the competition, two competing in the varsity bracket of 64 teams and one competing in the JV bracket of 32 teams. The Varsity team went 3 and 1 in pool play, winning two of the three games in overtime shoot outs. Thomas Martin completed 13 touchdown passes to multiple receivers, including Sam Frelich and Dominique Bobo. Griffin Killion stepped up big in the JV bracket with 8 interceptions, 3 for touchdowns, and multiple touchdowns on the offensive side at both receiver and quarterback. The varsity team ranked 18th out of 64 teams competing at the camp from all over the country. Following the competition, the team toured the Notre Dame facilities, locker room, and stadium.
