A Look At The Week Ahead At Creve Coeur Patch

Graduation season, state high school athletic events, plus city council and school board activities will be big areas of emphasis this week.

Welcome to another busy week of news here at Creve Coeur Patch! We had a great time meeting so many of you at over the weekend. Today, we'll have a special look back at Sunday's parade. Something else happened over the weekend that we're going to explore further Monday. City leaders celebrated the ceremonial completion of the redesigned We'll find out why the project was overbudget.

The Council meets Monday night at 7:30 p.m. City staff will be holding another worksession for council members on the budget starting at 6 p.m. at the Government Center. We've attached the agenda as a PDF file for your review.

The graduation season continues in full swing, as three more schools usher out the Class of 2011: final class to graduate in Creve Coeur before the will do so Monday, while and are set for Sunday May 29.

Tuesday, the Westminster varsity baseball team tries to get another step closer to a state title, and we'll be there. The girls will look to do the same. We'll have results and reaction Wednesday.

On a serious note, we're monitoring the tragic developments out of Joplin, especially as they relate to the tornado damage suffered by St. John Mercy Regional Hospital there. If there's an impact on people or facilities here at the hospital's here in Creve Coeur, we'll be sure to pass that along.
