Creve Coeur Handles Christmas Eve Snow

City should see roughly four inches of snow by Friday night.

The National Weather Service forecast calling for approximately four inches of snow by midnight Friday appears to be on track as of midday. City and state crews were seen handling main arteries around the area, with main routes like the state-plowed Olive Blvd. corridor showing a marked improvement over the season's earlier snowfall events.

The Missouri Department of Transportation said going into the holiday weekend it would have hundreds of employees on hand to deal with snowfall, with some form of flurries expected through the weekend.
