It is in that spirit then, that we highlight other media outlets in the area who caught something we thought was worth passing along.
- Fresh of the company's appearance in last week's ' move to a new location on Emerson Road was featured in the St. Louis Business Journal. (Subscription required).
- The St. Louis Jewish Light profiled a Creve Coeur resident who has championed the need for preserving umbilical cord blood. Dr. D. Elan Simckes served on an advisory panel to the state department of health. A new law on the matter goes into effect this fall.
- The St. Louis Post-Dispatch made mention of the City of Creve Coeur as being one of the municipalities which has lost free cable service which had been provided by Charter. The company cites competitive factors in making the move.
- Also from the Post-Dispatch, a Creve Coeur man earlier this week entered a guilty plea in connection with the death of his 10-month old son in St. Charles. The paper reports Cameron Penn made the plea to felony child endangerment after being accused of leaving a cigarette which started what turned out to be a fatal fire in 2010.
