Daily Dose: A Fast Look At Friday and The Weekend In Creve Coeur

Retail news, graduation season and the legislative session will be in the news Friday and through the weekend.

We have a packed day of news to follow today and into the weekend:

  • The long-anticipated opens Friday at 7 a.m. at the reconfigured intersection of Olive Blvd. and Graeser Road. Meanwhile, down the street, as the owners plan for the opening of a Wine & Cheese Place on North New Ballas next month.
  • The graduation season is in full gear. Friday, we'll have a look at how Class of 2011 looked in caps and gowns Thursday night, and this weekend, our cameras will be there Sunday as and students say goodbye to their high school years.
  • On the athletic front, many of the high school spring sports begin the final push to a state title this weekend, with district track and baseball on the platter Saturday and Sunday.
  • The legislative session ends Friday evening at 5 p.m. in Jefferson City. We'll have reaction from Creve Coeur-area lawmakers on what went right, what went wrong and what's still left to be done.
