Excessive Heat Warning Set To Expire Tuesday Night In Creve Coeur

An excessive heat warning issued for the Creve Coeur area by the National Weather Service is scheduled to expire at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Heat index levels were still expected to reach as high as 110 degrees as late as Tuesday evening as authorities continued to encourage residents to take proper precautions.

The St. Louis-Post Dispatch says 30 heat-related cases have been reported at hospitals in the St. Louis City and County areas.
