We've been to many fish frys in West County and they are all pretty much the same. The fish is always great, and I like it when they add hush puppies, but I would like to see a little more creativity with the other side orders. Green beans and applesauce?? I can get that at home. How about a veggie stir fry, red beans and rice, au gratin potatoes, green bean casserole with onions, roasted potatoes or vegetables. All of these dishes could easily be in mass quantities, in huge roasting pans.

The best place is "Lazy River Grill"! They serve walleye, which is in the perch family. You'll be back for more!

Holy Infant Parish on New Ballwin road is in my opinion the best. Always lots of good company, good food & variety.

The fish at Sacred Heart is outstanding. They also have an outstanding selection of desserts. The fish, alone, is the reason to check it out.

Great fish and the cole slaw is the best. Sacred Heart in Eureka gets my vote. Can't beat those wonderful desserts.

Sacred Heart in Eureka! The fish, green beans, pasta and homemade desserts are fantastic. Plus, there is a wonderful sense of community there.

Sacred Heart in Eureka by far is the best. The fish is cut, breaded and fried every week by parishioners. The green beans, slaw, pasta and desserts are all home made! We can;t get enough!
