Frugal Family Focuses On Deals For Easter

We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars.

This column will be dedicated to giving you five great local deals each week that will help your family’s bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, you can save time as well as money.

This week, Frugal Family scoured our local sources to come up with great deals on dessert fixings, Easter baskets, dresses and dressy apparel, lunch entrées, Easter brunch buffet, spa manicure and pedicures, Honeybaked Ham and Easter egg hunt.

1. Deal: $3.99 for a two-pound tray of Driscoll’s strawberries, 99 cents for an 8-ounce tub of Cool Whip topping and $3.59 for an 8-inch plain angel food cake.

7. Deal: Print the online coupon and save $5 off any bone-in half ham or $3 off a mini ham in-store only.
Good through: April 23

8. Deal: Enjoy Easter brunch at Limestone’s. Then purchase a round of nine or 18 holes of golf at the adjacent Crystal Springs Quarry Golf Course and freely participate in the all-day event with Easter eggs containing great prizes hidden throughout the course.
