Have Mercy! Creve Coeur Hospital Getting A New Name
St. John's Mercy Medical Center will be known as Mercy Hospital St. Louis starting Thursday.
Workers hope to put the finishing touches on temporary signage Wednesday morning, as in readies for a name change complete with a new logo starting Thursday.
Earlier this summer, the hospital system announced it was rebranding under the "Mercy" banner system-wide. The Creve Coeur hospital will be called Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
Workers spent Tuesday morning taking down the existing signage and had hoped to hang a temporary banner until windy weather conditions forced them to wait until Wednesday.

A press release from the company says it will take a few months for all of the hospital properties to get new signage under the new name.
