MoDOT Launching 24-Hour Pothole Attack; Tell Us About Creve Coeur's

MoDOT has a new plan to get aggressive with potholes. Where are the ones you've run over?

The is kicking off an "enhanced pothole repair initiative" in March. That announcement came in a press release where MoDOT stated road crews will repair potholes with asphalt within 24 hours of it being reported during weekdays. A news conference to highlight the program is scheduled for Friday morning.

"MoDOT’s goal is to aggressively tackle potholes to keep highways smooth and safe for St. Louis motorists," the release stated. 

MoDOT said in the release that the goal is to benefit both the department and drivers by tackling potholes early and getting them filled while they are still small.

The 24-hour plan is part of an improved program to respond to and fix potholes throughout the St. Louis district’s metropolitan area, MoDOT stated.
