Monsanto Arrest, Charity Golf Tournament Work Earns Honors For Creve Coeur Officer

The Creve Coeur Police recently held a quarterly recognition ceremony.

Officer Neal Kohrs was given a certificate of recognition at a ceremony late last month for his work on a number of fronts, both in the line of duty and in the line of charity.

Chief Glenn Eidman credited Officer Kohrs' work on an arrest in a theft case of from Monsanto in November. An employee at the firm was allegedly stealing cleaning supplies so he could run something of a side business. Prosecutors have not filed a formal charge in the case.

Officer Kohrs was also recognized for his work behind the scenes organizing the annual Creve Coeur-Town and Country Police Charity Golf Tournament, which this year raised roughly $35,000 and has already seen proceeds directed to officers in the St. Louis area shot while serving their communities.

Officer Kohrs and others recently presented a new car to a Kirkwood man who nailed a hole in one on a challenge hole during the tournament.
