Nominate Your Favorite Business for a Patch Readers’ Choice Award

Patch is compiling the best of the St. Louis area. Tell us where you love to shop, eat, take your kids, which services you can’t live without. WE WANT TO KNOW, and so do your neighbors!

Patch readers, we need your help.

St. Louis is a town full of restaurants, businesses, nonprofits, fun activities and thrills.

At Patch, we believe our communities hold the last word and are the most important experts of all things local.

Below you will find 25 categories for the best of the St. Louis metropolitan area.

From the best toasted ravioli to the best karaoke venue, we want to find out what is the creme of the crop in St. Louis, St. Charles and northern Jefferson counties.

Click on each link, nominate your favorite places, and spread the word. (You may be re-directed to Town and Country-Manchester Patch, but that's ok.) Voting will begin after the nomination process closes on July 9.

Thank you for participating and for being the experts of all things local.

Ahem...I believe you left out "bookstores."

This list is very shallow and weak. I can think of 15 categorize that are missing including the top 5 things that people require to consume every day. If you're going to do an unscientific poll at least try to compile a decent list.

We'd always welcome your suggestions for future categories. No list is going to be perfect but you do have to stop somewhere, so I'd respectfully disagree with the notion that this one is shallow and weak. Participate!

I do see more categories, and they're fairly inclusive. But again...sigh....
