Santa Makes Early Special Stops In Creve Coeur

Police officers pitch in as elves during a trip Tuesday to Mercy Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.

Santa is gearing up for his official visit to Creve Coeur this coming weekend, but he made a special trip to town Tuesday, with an escort of elves from the department as he visited and the Ronald McDonald House next door.

The jolly old elf dropped by to see kids who were getting care from as far as Jefferson City and as near as Ballwin. The visit to the hospital was made possible by donations from Creve Coeur Police Department employees as well as their children, who brought gifts to a recent Breakfast with Santa event. The also made a donation to the effort.

Once Santa and his crew were done at the hospital, they stopped at the Ronald McDonald House and presented staff there with a check for $500 from proceeds from the annual
