St. Louis Arc, Belle Center Merge
The St. Louis Arc and the Belle Center are combining to offer more services to children with developmental disabilities in the area.
St. Louis Arc, an organization geared toward supporting families affected by developmental disabilities, announced its merger with the Belle Center to create a new division specifically for children.
The division, called Belle Children's Services of St. Louis Arc, would become active July 1 and based out of the on Warson Road.
“We recognized the need to expand our children’s services, particularly in light of the rapid rise in autism diagnoses among young children,” said Kathy Meath, St. Louis Arc president and CEO. “The Belle Center had a bold vision for growing their programs, but needed the capacity and infrastructure to make their vision possible. With such a clear alignment of mission and values between our two organizations, a merger became an almost obvious conclusion.”
