The Week Ahead: Annexation & Zoning Questions, Remembering Joplin, Plus Graduation Season

A look at what's going on in Creve Coeur Patch this week and what you can do to contribute.

Welcome back to another week on Creve Coeur Patch...As usual, it will be a busy one for everyone!

Monday night, we'll be at the City of Creve Coeur Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, , as well as reveal the areas the city of Creve Coeur MIGHT have interest in annexing over the next five years.

Tuesday is a day we'll remember here on Creve Coeur Patch, as will those across the state and the nation. On May 22, 2011, a tornado devastated Joplin, killing scores of people and changing lives. We'll take a look back at how Creve Coeur helped in the recovery, and the lessons learned from the tragedy. How were you impacted by the events? Did you volunteer in the aftermath? Tell us about it in a Patch Blog.

Tuesday is also a big day for Creve Coeur area athletes. The Viking Baseball team, fresh off the , will go to battle in state sectional play against Ft. Zumwalt South. , heads to state play at Francis Howell North.

We've now moved into the voting phase of our regular "Food Fight" feature, 

We're knee-deep in graduations around here. and took care of business over the weekend. All will be quiet on that front until Sunday, when and hand out diplomas.
