This Week In Creve Coeur: Milestones, A New Business, and Chickens

A sampling of the stories we'll be following this week in Creve Coeur.

This week we're marking some milestones at Patch, both nationally and here in Creve Coeur.

As a company, Patch sites around the U.S. have produced more than a million stories, as noted by our Editor in Chief in a recent Patch blog. Here in St. Louis, as we begin our eighth month serving Creve Coeur, we've contributed almost 1100 of them. Which has been your favorite? Which one do you remember most?

Monday also marks the start of our first full fall sports season up and running. It is the first day high school athletes can start official practice. Will continue to dominate in Boy's Soccer? Will Durron Neal lead his football team to a second trip to the dome this season (they'll play CBC there in a few weeks). Our sports writers and cameras will be all over the area this week and in the weeks leading up to the start of the seasons, previewing your favorite boys and girls teams.
