Auditions for Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!

Actors, singers and dancers ages 5-18 of all experience levels are invited to audition for our upcoming production of "Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!" The play is a musical adaptation of the classic English folk tale "Jack and the Beanstalk." Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Auditions for the dancing chorus, (ages 5 – 10) begin at 5 p.m. Auditions for acting and singing roles (ages 8 and older) begin at 6:30 p.m. You may audition for both if you fit the age ranges. Audition and commitment forms (available by emailing jvandyke@marylandheights.com) must be submitted by Friday, Aug. 30. For the auditions, participants should bring something to do while waiting to audition and wear comfortable clothing and shoes that stay on their feet and are easy to move in. Parents will wait in the lobby during auditions.

Rehearsals will be held on various Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Additional rehearsals may be added if needed. There is a production fee of $105 per actor and $50 per dancing chorus member. For families with multiple children cast, there is a 50% discount for the second child. Fees are due by Tuesday, Sept. 10. If needed, you may collect sponsorships to cover your production fee. Performances will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. The production is roughly 60 minutes long and includes singing, dancing and acting.
