St. Luke's Hospital Announces the Opening of Creve Coeur Family Medicine

St. Luke's Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of Creve Coeur Family Medicine. It is located in the St. Luke's Urgent Care Center Medical Building at Olive Boulevard and Old Ballas Road.

St. Luke’s Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of Creve Coeur Family Medicine. It is located in the St. Luke’s Urgent Care Center Medical Building at Olive Boulevard and Old Ballas Road. At Creve Coeur Family Medicine, board-certified family medicine physicians Divya Chauhan, MD, and Cynthia Poelker, MD, offer care for the whole family.

Dr. Divya Chauhan
St. Luke’s Hospital welcomes Dr. Chauhan, a board-certified family medicine physician who has extensive experience in occupational medicine and safety programs.

Dr. Chauhan received her medical degree in 1993 and completed an internship and residency in family practice at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

She focuses on treating the whole family, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with special attention to patient involvement for improving overall wellness and health. She is interested in helping patients with weight management and giving patients simple steps to help them achieve their personal wellness goals.

Dr. Chauhan is currently accepting patients ages four and older.

Dr. Cynthia Poelker
Dr. Poelker is a board-certified family physician who has been with St. Luke’s Medical Group since 2008.

Dr. Poelker received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2005 and completed her residency in family medicine in 2008 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, where she was chief resident.

Her areas of special interest include pediatric care, women’s health, preventive care and weight management, as well as diabetes and hypertension care. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians. 

Dr. Poelker was born and raised in St. Louis and is currently accepting new pediatric, adolescent and adult patients.
